Volcanic mountains are formed by the deposition and solidification of lava. These mountains have a magma core that builds up in enormous pressure. Layers of ash and lava compose the volcanic cone. Lava is the molten rocks that flow down by the side. Huge clouds of steam, volcano ash, and gas and lava bombs come out when these mountains erupt. Mt.Kilimanjaro in Africa and Mt.Fujiyama in Japan are examples of such mountains.
