How can you prove that dry soil contain moisture?

1. Take a boiling tube. 2. Take some amount of soil in it. 3. Now heat boiling tube on a flame and observe. 4. On heating water in the soil evaporates, moves up, and condenses on the cooler inner walls of the upper part of the boiling tube. This activity shows that dry soil also contains water.
