How will you show that air supports burning?
We will show that air supports burning by the following experiment -:
Take two burning candles of the same length on a table. Cover one of the burning candle with a glass jar. After a few minutes, the covered candle is extinguished. As the supply of air is stopped due to glass jar, you will find that the candle blows out after burning for some time. While the uncovered candle burns continuously. This experiment proves that air supports burning.
