Conservation Of Plants And Animals > Ask Question to Alfie
Hi
Is there any permanent solution to the problem of deforestation?
A permanent solution to the problem of deforestation would, therefore, be proper planning on part of humans to understand the importance of trees. Simply planting trees is not a solution to this problem. We need to find that where major deforestation has taken place and practice more afforestation in that region. Also, vigorous cutting of trees for the purpose of development should be avoided. Thus the best solution to deforestation is to not allow them to be cut. Reforestation is the solution to the problem of deforestation. In this, the new plants of the same species are grown. Most of the time if a deforested area is left undisturbed, reforestation occurs by itself in that area.
