Air pressure is defined as the pressure exerted by the weight of Air on the earth surface. As go up the atmosphere, the pressure falls rapidly. The distribution of pressure is is influenced by temperature. High temperature leads to low pressure area where low temperature leads to high pressure area. The wind always blows from high pressure area to low pressure area. As there is no air on the moon so the air pressure at moon is zero. Due to variation in pressure the earth is divided into many pressure zones. The equatorial low pressure zone is called Doldrums, subtropical high pressure belt, sub polar low pressure and polar high pressure belt are main pressure belts on earth.. The fast blowing wind is is known as Storm.
