Physical and Chemical Changes

Hi
What happens when iron nails are dipped in copper
sulphate solution ?
When iron nails are dipped in copper sulphate solution, then after some time a brown layer of copper gets deposited on iron nails. This change is due to a chemical reaction between copper sulphate and iron. The colour of copper sulphate solution also changes from blue to green due to the formation of iron sulphate. The equation is given by:
Cu(SO)4 +Fe ------> Fe(SO)4
