Hi
What is the function of septum?
The left and right sides of the heart are divided by a wall called the septum. There is an atrial septum that separates the right and left atriums and a ventricular septum that separates the right and left ventricles.
This prevents the mixing of oxygenated and deoxygenated blood inside the heart.
